Wow, I suck.
Finals coming up and all. I find myself overloaded with schoolwork.
Have been trying my darndest, yep darndest
to try and get my life back on track.
Always such a difficult task, and the winter blues don't make it any easier.
Toughen up now, eh.

Let me try and attempt to get in the christmas spirit.

Have a listen . . CocoRosie, one of my favorite bands.
I am not with it enough to give you the whole low down.
SO I am going to make it short and sweet.
They are amazingly brilliant, and have spectacular voices.
They are sisters whose voices contrast eachother, yet make a harmony that is perfect.
Did I contradict myself? Hah.
Just listen. You be the judge.

personally I go weak for my mom's green bean casserole mmmm love it.

Also, I'm rarely back home so I need to take advantage of the cleanliness and laziness

A French electronic duo comprised of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay.
Justice is signed to none other than, Ed Banger Records.
This french electronic music label has a bunch of other amazing electronic artists such as
SebastiAn, Uffie, and DJ Mehdi, just to name a few of my favorites.
Ed Banger Records is run by Pedro Winter, or Busy P as he is known on the dancefloor.
Ed Banger Records signed Justice when they pounded out an amazing remix of
Simian Mobile Disco's "We are Your Friends" in 2003.

In June of 2007, Justice released their debut album † (Cross), which was received with much critical acclaim. It is honestly the epitome of a solid album. Yeah, some tracks outshine others, but the album as a whole is incredible and constantly surprising you.
In my opinion, Justice is f0llowing right behind Daft Punk's footsteps, in the rise to fame.
If Justice is the future of electronica.. you can bet your ass I'm hauling along for the ride.

Their next project to be released is "Across the Universe" which will be out on Nov. 24th (Monday! :]). This is not just any album release, though.
It will include a live cd from San Francisco as well as a documentary of Justice's 2008 North American Tour. <3 *drool* <3

Late-Night Inspiration

I'm afraid that you've caught me by surprise

So tis the beginning..
Have become in love with this site.. it is quite horrible in reality tho.
The pictures are lovely and all, but it just kinda upsets me that I have
a fondness for images of something I should not be partaking in.
I don't know if and when cigarette smoking will ever end for me hah hah.

I am officially obsessed with true blood..

Anna Paquin "Sookie" can suck my blood anyday.. she looks amazing in the pickcha above.
Seriously, though, Sunday nights are my favorite time to watch the tv. HBO of course, True Blood on at 9pm, then Entourage at 10pm, followed by the newest addition Summer Heights High. The boy does not enjoy this newest addition, but personally I have a soft spot for the british comedy. On the topic of HBO, I am super psyched for Flight of the Conchords to start back up :D.

About a week till thanksgiving.. looking forward to eating all the delicious food
that I will return home for. This is gonna end on a short notice.. the boys have all arrived for the weekly southpark evening heh.. not complaining tonight tho because they are sploofing TRUE BLOOD :D hehe..
